The invention relates to an oscillating weight for an automatic watch. The inventive weight is designed such as to support a bearing which defines an axis of rotation (A-A) and which is intended to be mounted to the watch housing. The invention comprises a mass member having a centre of gravity (G) which is offset in relation to the axis of rotation. In the inventive weight, the mass member comprises: two parts which can move, one (10, 18) in relation to the other (24), and which are arranged such that the relative movement thereof causes the radial movement of the centre of gravity (G) of the mass member; and a fixing device (13, 14, 16b) which co-operates with the aforementioned first and second parts and which can occupy a first state in which the parts can be moved in relation to one another and a second state in which said parts are rigidly fixed to one another. |
