<p>The present invention relates to a milling cutter having three cutting edges (27A, 27B, 27C) for rotary cutting machining. The cutting edges are integrated with the milling cutter to a holder. Each cutting edge (27A, 27B, 27C) run from the periphery of the milling cutter and substantially in to the centre line (CL) of the milling cutter. Each of the three cutting edges follows a substantially convex, curved path. The radially outer (31A) and radially inner end of the convex edge (27A, 27B, 27C) is arranged axially behind a maximum point (X) of each of the three cutting edges. Each cutting edge (27A, 27B, 27C) is defined substantially by a radius (R), the radius C of which is facing towards the means (15) and arranged to the side of the centre line (CL) in the radial direction.</p> |
