PURPOSE: A system for automatically controlling a side mirror for a vehicle is provided to meet the convenience of a driver by automatically controlling the angle of the side mirror so that an object is reflected on the center of the side mirror. CONSTITUTION: A system for automatically controlling a side mirror is composed of an eye detecting unit(70) for detecting the eyes of a driver, a driving unit(90) for controlling the angle of the side mirror(95), a control unit(80), and an operating switch(60) for outputting an operating signal to the control unit. The control unit outputs a control signal for controlling the angle of the side mirror to the driving unit so that an object is reflected on the center of the side mirror according to a signal output from the eye detecting unit.
