<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a final driving unit 10 for a motor vehicle capable of properly lubricating bearings even when the motor vehicle is inclined at the maximum inclination angle. <P>SOLUTION: This final driving unit 10 comprises a carrier housing 11 integrated with a final driving housing 12, and storing the lubricant inside thereof, a pinion driving shaft 14 rotatably supported by the pair of bearings 18, 20 in the final driving housing 12, an oil supply passage 30 having a supply opening 32 communicated with a void in the carrier housing 11 and integrated with the final driving housing 12 to lubricate the bearings 18, 20, and a baffle member 40 mounted in the carrier housing 11 in adjacent to the supply opening 32 of the oil supply passage 40. The baffle member 40 comprises a baffle wall 42 mounted in a state of covering a lower part of the oil supply passage 30, and the lubricant is partially kept in the oil supply passage 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
