PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and rationally remove a filler charged in a column of a liquid chromatograph. SOLUTION: This device/method includes an adaptor part 3 sealed in an under part of the column 1 to be fixed, a fluid supply pipe 4 for supplying a fluid from the outside to a portion of the adaptor part 3 to be injected toward its upper side, and a discharge pipe 5 for discharging the supplied fluid to its outside together with a filler 2 to remove the filler 2 packed in the column 1 of the liquid chromatograph. City water, for example, is supplied from the fluid supply pipe 4 to be injected upwards, the filler 2 hardened pressedly is collapsed by water flow to be discharged from the discharge pipe 5 together with the water flow and to be received in a container 7 connected to the discharge pipe 5, and the water mixture is settled to be separated into a precipitate 8 and a supernatant liquid 9 to be disposed separately.
