PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the seat core material for forming a smooth plane over the whole of a bed surface when switching the childcare appliance to a bed-shape mode. SOLUTION: This seat core material 20 is continuously provided with a backrest surface part 21 for supporting a back of a child, a seat surface part 22 for supporting a hip of the child, a footrest surface part 23 for supporting foots of the child from under in the bed-shape mode, a first hinge part 24 positioned in a boundary part between the backrest surface part 21 and the seat surface part 22, and a second hinge part 25 positioned in a boundary part between the seat surface part 22 and the footrest surface part 23.
