PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil jacket exhibiting high rigidity in the thrust generating direction in which sufficient reliability is ensured in the bonding of a coil and the coil jacket even if refrigerant is circulated while containing a multiple phase coil having coils shifted sequentially by the coil width, and fixing/positioning of the multiple phase coil is facilitated. SOLUTION: The coil jacket is provided with coil containing slots for containing a multiple phase coil having a plurality of coils arranged while being shifted sequentially by the coil width along a magnetic air gap path with each coil being arranged on the same plane in the magnetic air gap path.
