PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storable chair that is compactly stored when the chair is to be put out of use, and can be smoothly moved forward when someone is sitting thereon. SOLUTION: The chair to be set up in a school's classroom is designed to be stored by laying down and lifting the rear of a seat when the chair is to be put out of use. The chair has two legs of a front leg 3 and a rear leg 4. The front leg 3 is connected nearly vertically or in a forward reclining state. A backrest 9 is fastened to the rear leg 4 and an urging means 6 to lift the seat 1 when the chair is to be put out of use is provided.
