PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and precisely predict the progression condition of a chemical reaction at each part in a medium when a diffusion substance that has entered the medium chemically reacts with a reaction substance in the medium and is diffused into the medium. SOLUTION: An amount of diffusion P<SB>n,Δt</SB>in the diffusion substance per unit timeΔt is computed, based on amount of accumulation A<SB>n, t</SB>, A<SB>n+1, t</SB>in the diffusion substance in cells CE<SB>n</SB>, CE<SB>n+1</SB>having position information, and amount of reaction Q<SB>n,Δt</SB>in the diffusion substance and amount of reaction R<SB>n,Δt</SB>in the reaction substance per unit timeΔt are computed, based on the amount of accumulation An, t in the diffusion substance and an amount of accumulation B<SB>n, t</SB>in the reaction substance in the cell CE<SB>n</SB>. Then, the amount of accumulation A<SB>n, t+Δt</SB>in the diffusion substance after a lapse of timeΔt is computed, based on the amount of accumulation A<SB>n, t</SB>, the amount of diffusion P<SB>n,Δt</SB>, and the amount of reaction Q<SB>n,Δt</SB>, and the amount of accumulation B<SB>n, t+Δt</SB>is computed, based on the amount of accumulation B<SB>n, t</SB>and the amount of reaction n,Δt in the reaction substance.
