PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an exhaust manifold which materializes an improvement in a yield of materials and securement of good quality. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for an exhaust manifold 4 which has four bent branch pipes 6-9 and collects exhaust gas exhausted from a plurality of cylinders in an engine 1 to send it to an exhaust pipe 11 comprises a step for bending a piece of pipe member 20 into a curved shape, a step for cutting the pipe member 20 so as to be virtually equal to the length of two pieces of branch pipes 6, 9, a step for forming two through holes 22 in the pipe member 20, a step for cutting one side of two through holes 22 and forming a bent part 24 on the other side of the two holes 22 which is not cut in order to splice one side between two through holes 22, and a step for integrally forming two branch pipes 6, 9 by bending the pipe member 20 with the bent part 24 as the center.
