PURPOSE: A structure for mounting an airbag for protecting the knees of a passenger is provided to prevent first and second airbags from being twisted by separating the first airbag from the second airbag. CONSTITUTION: In an airbag system for protecting the knees(3) of a passenger, first and second fitting protrusions(21,22) are formed at the inner edge of a knee protective unit(20), and are fit into protrusions formed at a cowl panel(5). Separation preventing protrusions(27,28) are adjacent to the first and second fitting protrusions, and prevent first and second airbags(7a,7b) from being separated outside. A partition(23) is formed at the inner face of the knee protective unit, and separates the first airbag from the second airbag. |
