<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for diagnosis and treatment related to the growth and proliferation of tumor cells in mammals including human being, and to provide a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is based on the identification of a gene proliferated in the genome of a tumor cell. The proliferation of the gene is related to the excessive expression of the genetic product in comparison with the same tissue type normal cell, and is estimated to contribute to the formation of tumor.
