<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small, small power consumption digital baseband modulator/demodulator capable of transmitting a large volume of information at a high rate. <P>SOLUTION: The digital baseband modulator/demodulator comprises a spread modulating section performing complex spreading of a set (I, Q) of a digital signal on the orthogonal I and Q axes of an input by the spread code of the I and Q axes, and an amplitude converting section performing one half conversion of the amplitude component of a signal being outputted only on the I or Q axis by the spreading/modulating section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
