<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a light leak and noise generation while efficiently cooling the inside of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A fan 2 for cooling a heat source such as a lamp is provided in the housing 20. The housing 20 has at its opening part 21 an air guide plate 3 whose angle is freely varied in a plurality of stages from a stage where the opening part 21 is closed to a stage where the opening part is opened at a maximum. In normal use, the fan 2 is normally rotated and the air guide plate 3 is adjusted to an opening angle matching the air capacity of the fan 2. In "economical mode", the fan 2 is rotated at a little slow speed and the opening part 21 of the air guide plate 3 is made a little narrower than in the normal use to match the air capacity of the fan 2. At the end of use of the device, the fan 2 is rotated at a maximum speed and the air guide plate 3 is placed in a fully open state. Stepped control is carried out while the air capacity of the fan 2 and the angle of the air guide plate 3 are associated with each other to suppress the generation of a wind whistle, a leak of the operation sound of the fan 2, and a leak of the light of the lamp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
