<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kettle-burning kiln type carbonization apparatus which, by using a woody fuel generated in a sawmill, can produce a high-quality carbonized product similar to that produced by a vacuum oven. <P>SOLUTION: This kettle-burning kiln type carbonization apparatus has a woody-fuel burning kiln and a tubular, metal-made carbonization kettle. The burning kiln has a fuel charge port for charging a woody fuel, an ash take-out port, and a chimney and is made of a refractory material so as to form a homogeneous pyrogenic atmosphere in its inside. The carbonization kettle is made so that its inside can be filled with a carbonization raw material; that at least its one end is supported by the wall surface of the burning kiln; and that it is entirely heated homogeneously in the pyrogenic atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
