<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time measurement method based on a diagram of time and space relation established between a static system considering the effect of the relativistic Doppler effect and a uniform acceleration motion system or between a static system and a motion system in a gravitational field in order to remove an obstruction in a conventional time measurement method based on such an assumption that sudden acceleration and deceleration are implicitly assumed in starting and returning of a moving body in a time and space relation diaphragm by static system and uniform motion system, whereas the time and space relation in relativism is difficult to understand in the conventional method, which obstructs to make it into computer-generated graphics. <P>SOLUTION: An equation considering the relativistic Doppler effect is derived, and a necessary time and space relational diagram is obtained from the derived equation on the basis of various factors. A given numerical value is applied to the equation on the basis of the thus-obtained diagram, whereby time measurement is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
