<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus traffic control system by which a bus traffic manager can allocate buses in an optimum state on the basis of information requested by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The user transmits boarding request data to a first radio device 31 installed near a stop 51 by using a DSRC communication function incorporated in an information terminal 11. The boarding request data of the user are received by the first radio device 31 and transmitted in real time to an information collection device 42 connected by a wire and further the boarding request data are transmitted in real time from the information collection device 42 through a cable communication network 23 to an information management device 91. Thus, the bus traffic manager recognizes that the user who wants to get on the bus is present at the stop 51. The manager looks at contents displayed on a display, retrieves the bus which can stop at the stop 51 and pick up the user and transmits allocation command data from the information management device 91 through the cable network 23 to an information distribution device 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
