PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to increase functions and carry out network connection by connecting with various external devices without changing the functions of a television intercom slave unit or a master unit. SOLUTION: The system consists of the slave unit with a call button 14, a slave unit microphone 13, a slave unit speaker 12, and a camera unit 11, a master unit 2 connected with the slave unit by a slave unit cable L1 and having call devices 22, 23, 24, and an external device 5 connected with the master unit by a master unit cable L2. The external unit comprises an interface unit 3 connected to the master unit cable, and an external unit 4 which transmits or receives at least one of video signal S31 outputted from the interface unit, a transmitting speech signal S32 from the interface unit, a receiving speech signal S33 to the interface unit, a transmitting data signal S34 from the interface unit, and a receiving data signal S35 to the interface unit.
