DEFECTIVE PIXEL CORRECTION SYSTEM, DEFECTIVE PIXEL CORRECTION METHOD, AND DEFECTIVE PIXEL CORRECTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defective pixel correction system for more accurately calculating a correction value of an output value of a defective pixel by using less hardware resource. SOLUTION: The defective pixel correction system is provided with: an interpolation means for adding a value of a first pixel located to the left immediately close to the defective pixel on a line including the defective pixel in the same color as that of the defective pixel to which a first weight is applied and a value of a second pixel located to the right immediately close to the defective pixel on the line including the defective pixel in the same color as that of the defective pixel to which a second weight is applied so as to interpolate the value of the defective pixel; and a coefficient value arithmetic means for calculating a value of a first coefficient multiplied with the value of the first pixel to apply the first weight to the value of the first pixel and a value of a second coefficient multiplied with the value of the second pixel to apply the second weight to the value of the second pixel.
