PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image layout device for automatically laying out images on the basis of the layout sequence information of a template and the sequencing information of the images by the evaluation of the attention degrees of the images in the case of laying out the plurality of images. SOLUTION: The image layout device of this invention is provided with an image selection means for selecting the images to be laid out from an image storage means, an image read means for reading the images, and an attention area calculation means for calculating the attention degree of the image. Also, it is provided with a template selection means for selecting the template including the sequence information of a layout from a template storage means. Also, it is provided with a layout means for performing layout processing according to the layout sequence information entered in the template and the sequence of the attention degrees of the images.
