PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve durability of a paddle arm; and to easily and inexpensively perform maintenance work. SOLUTION: In the paddle arm 4 of a pug mill mixer, a protective plate part 12 for covering a bolt 11a and a nut for detachably fixing a paddle chip 5 is protrusively arranged on the opposite side of the paddle chip 5 in a part becoming the preceding side in the rotatably moving direction A of a chip installing part 10a for fixing the paddle chip 5, and a liner divided into an arm liner 13 and a base part liner 17 of an abrasion resistant material is detachably installed on a front face 10b and a side surface 9b becoming the preceding side in the rotatably moving direction A of an arm part 10 and an installing base part 9 by a bolt 14a and a nut, and an installing bolt 16a and a fixing nut 16b. A protective plate part 13b for covering the bolt 14a and the nut is protrusively arranged on the back face side of the arm liner 13 on the preceding side in the rotatably moving direction A in the arm liner 13.
