PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelter in which, firstly, an internal space is large, secondly, a flat portion is easily ensured even on an irregular ground, thirdly, waterproofness and strength of an enlargement are enhanced in a developed condition, and fourthly, operation mistake is prevented and safety is enhanced during the development. SOLUTION: The shelter 6 comprises a body portion 7, and an enlargement 8 which is provided in the body portion 7 in a developable and storage-foldable manner, and at least one leg 19 of the body portion 7 is a jack 20. In a developed condition D, a lock handle, a fastener and a receiving block are interposed between a ceiling plate 10 and a floor plate 11 of the enlargement, and between an end face plate 12 and a side plate 13 of the enlargement. In addition, a safety cover is provided on a floor plate locking member on the expansion part 8 side, and controlled by a bracket at a tip of a wire to hoist and hold the floor plate 11 of the enlargement in the developed condition D.
