METHOD FOR UTILIZING THE WASTE HEAT OF A FUEL CELL REFORMER

The aim of the invention is to utilize the waste heat and heated reaction gases obtained in external reformer processes for generating energy by means of fuel cells. Said aim is achieved by expanding and thus cooling the reaction gases of the reformer in at least one turbine comprising one or several turbine stages. The rotational energy produced in the turbine is used in pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electric generators and/or supplied to any mechanical devices as kinetic energy.
