PURPOSE: A track assembly for a seat of a vehicle and the seat with the track assembly are provided to enlarge the section area and to increase the rigidity of the track assembly by changing the section of the internal space along the longitudinal axis. CONSTITUTION: A track assembly(5) for a seat of a vehicle is composed of a male track(6) and a female track(7) relatively sliding on the linear track in the sliding plane, and an internal space of the track assembly is longitudinally extended between the female track and the male track. The section of the internal space of the track assembly is changed along the longitudinal axis of the track assembly, and the track assembly is mounted to the seat. The female track and the male track are extended longitudinally between a rear end and a front end, and composed of channel members.
