PURPOSE: A mobile terminal is provided to switch a receiving antenna into a patch antenna from a chip antenna, so that radiation patterns of the patch antenna can be extroverted for a human body, thereby reducing influence on the radiation pattern and directivity of an antenna, generated by the human body. CONSTITUTION: A print substrate(101) is disposed on a display of a foldable portable phone(100). A chip antenna(102) is installed in a front section opposite to a hinge side on the print substrate(101). A patch antenna(103) is installed on an opposed surface to the display on the print substrate(101). The patch antenna(103) combines axial-type members on a flat substrate, and has directivity in a direction at which an elevation angle is approximately more than 15 degrees with regards to the surface of the flat substrate.
