PURPOSE: A writing instrument is provided to give a user excitement by showing various figures through a transparent window, enlarge usages of the writing instrument by making it possible to play simple games with other people and increase value-added. CONSTITUTION: The writing instrument includes a pipe-type housing(11), a duramen(12), a press button(13), and a spring(18). A rotating wheel(50) is installed in the housing(11) to be rotatable centering around the central axis of the housing(11). A plurality of rotating reels(60,70,80), which are sequentially positioned in a straight line below the rotating wheel(50), are arranged to be rotatable centering around the central axis of the housing(11). A motion converting portion included in the writing instrument converts a straight line motion into a rotational motion for rotation of the rotating wheel(50) according to rising and falling of the press button(13). A rotation transport portion included in the writing instrument delivers a rotatory power of the rotating wheel(50) to rotate the rotating reels(60,70,80) according to rising and falling of the press button(13).
