<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watercolor pigment ink composition for a core type writing utensil in which pastel color can be obtained; ink-dispersing stability can be obtained when used in a writing utensil; ink drops and inconsistencies in color density caused by different positions of the writing utensil can be effectively prevented; and the ink may not leak from a reservoir of the writing utensil, without using white inorganic pigments or white resin particles. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises 0.5-7 wt% of a pigment and 2-10 wt% of a water soluble resin and has an ink viscosity of 3.5-10 mPas, so that pastel color can be obtained; ink-dispersing stability can be obtained when used in a writing utensil; ink drops and inconsistencies in color density caused by different positions of the writing utensil can be effectively prevented; and the ink may not leak from a reservoir of the writing utensil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
