PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize generation of damping force corresponding to the traveling condition of a two-wheeler at control for enhancing the damping force generated at applying of a current when oscillation of a front wheel is damped by a rotary type damper at the two-wheeler during traveling, and not to needlessly make handling of a handle heavier when an over-current is applied. SOLUTION: The steering device has a damper 10 provided on a bracket (3) for connecting a front fork 1 and damping kick-back of a wheel. Oil chambers R1, R2 at both sides of a vane 12 partitioned by the vane 12 and permitting rocking are communicated with each other through a damping valve 20 for generating the damping force by an oil flow in one direction and capable of changing the high/low degree of the damping force generated by inputting of an external signal.
