PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonated water maker for making carbonated water, which is not mixed with foreign matter and has a marked blood circulation accelerating effect or washing accelerating effect, using electric energy. SOLUTION: This carbonated water maker is equipped with an electrolytic cell having at least a pair of electrodes, an electrolyte adding tank connected to the electrolytic cell on the upstream side thereof by piping and a carbonate adding tank connected to the anode water outlet of the electrolytic cell by piping. The pipings are provided so that the water from the cathode water outlet of the electrolytic cell does not meet with both of the water from the anode water outlet and the water after a carbonate is added.
