PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher that is simple in structure and permits an addition of table salt to cleaning water when dishes are to be bleached by making the cleaning water contain a bleaching component by electrolysis of salt water in the dishwasher, though it is sometimes difficult to automatically throw in a prescribed quantity of table salt into the cleaning water. SOLUTION: In the dishwasher having an electrolyzing means electrolyzing the cleaning water, and performing a plurality of processes including the process of electrolyzing the cleaning water containing table salt and spraying it to dishes, a reporting means is provided, and informs a user of the timing of throwing in table salt to permit the user to timely supply table salt of a prescribed amount to a washing tub.
