A cogeneration system using a Stirling engine remarkably advantageous for the utilization of heat energy since the system can utilize heat source energy without waste, comprising a combustion chamber (11), a burner device (5) installed in the combustion chamber and generating exhaust gas by the combustion in the combustion chamber, a liquid medium jacket (21) installed around the combustion chamber and allowing liquid medium heated by the exhaust gas from the burner device to circulate therein, a Stirling engine (4) having a heater part (3) installed in the combustion chamber so as to be opposed to the burner device and receiving the exhaust gas generated in the combustion chamber and operated by heating sealed working fluid by the heater part, an exhaust gas circulation route (20) for flowing out the exhaust gas flowing from the burner device into the heater part to heat the heater part, and an exhaust gas passage (22) having an inlet connected to the exhaust gas circulation route and allowing the exhaust gas to circulate in the liquid medium jacket. The exhaust gas generated by the combustion action of the burner device flows into the heater part to heat the heater part, and further flows into the exhaust gas passage through the exhaust gas circulation route to heat the liquid medium so as to heat the liquid medium as well as the heater part. |
