<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a CT image of fine image quality from the projection data of a chest region acquired with an extremely low X-ray dose. <P>SOLUTION: In this extremely low X-ray dose CT image forming method, noise and artifact are reduced by combining and executing arm artifact reducing processing, Z-filter processing and fan/parallel beam conversion processing to the projection data acquired by photographing the chest region with the extremely low X-ray dose.
