<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BGM reproduction system, a data transmission system, and a scheduling program such that settings of a detailed schedule is easily changed. <P>SOLUTION: When the starting time of a schedule file is on the starting day of a set period of validity, a period of validity in a validity period storage means 47 is automatically so varied that the starting time of the period of validity is the starting time of the schedule file and when the ending time of the schedule file is on the ending day of the set period of validity, the period of validity in the validity period storage means 47 is automatically so varied that the ending time of the period of validity is the ending time of the schedule file. When the schedule file lasts beyond the range of the period of validity, the period of validity in the validity period storage means 47 is automatically so varied that the starting time or ending time of the period of validity is expanded to the starting time or ending time of the schedule file.
