<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a program version applied in each device/terminal in a distributed interlocked processing system, avoiding the system operation under such a combination of the versions as causing malfunction. <P>SOLUTION: A method for managing program versions operating in each of devices 22, 26 or each of terminals 24, 28, 32 in the distributed interlocked processing system is provided. For each processing mode of interlocked processing performed in a plurality of devices 22, 26 or terminals 24, 28, 32, a version management table is provided in advance, in which program versions of which operation is permitted for each of the devices 22, 26 or each of the terminals 24, 28, 32 are defined. When start of the interlocked processing is requested from any devices 22, 26 or terminals 24, 28, 32 under any processing mode, operation of the interlocked processing is permitted to the devices 22, 26 and/or the terminals 24, 28, 32, having the program versions in operation consistent with the contents in the version management table corresponding to the processing mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
