<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process management device for efficiently discriminating and estimating an operation state and a fault state from a limited sensor signal and easily performing maintenance management. <P>SOLUTION: The process management device is provided with a process simulation means 2 for previously simulating a normal state and various fault states of a process, a simulation data storage means 3 for storing these results as simulation data, a statistical analysis means 4 for analyzing the stored simulation data by a statistical analysis procedure, extracting a difference of characteristic values between a normal state and an abnormal state and generating fault knowledge data, a fault knowledge data storage means 5 for storing the fault knowledge data obtained by the statistical analysis means 4, a normality/abnormality determination means 6 for monitoring the transition of changes in the process measurement data, comparing the process measurement data with fault knowledge data and determining whether process measurement data is deviated from a normal state or not, and a process result data storage means 7 for storing process result data at normal time and process result data at the occurrence of a fault. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
