PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a carrier tape having stable precision of distance between feed holes and storage pockets. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the carrier tape, a feeding device for feeding fixed amount of tape for forming the carrier tape by intermittent operation, a heating device and a forming device for forming a part of sheet into an embossed condition, and a manufacturing device of the carrier tape including a blanking device for forming the feed hole of the tape are used to image fixed basic points sequentially using two cameras, and respective imaged data are computed by an image processing apparatus to grasp transfer amount of the carrier tape.
