HEAT EXCHANGER MADE OF ALUMINUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger made of aluminum whose weight is reduced while strength and corrosion resistance are improved by thinning a header plate and a flat tube. SOLUTION: The header plate 5 and the flat tube 6 are formed from a high-strength Al-Cu-Mn alloy. The amount of Zn in a core of the header plate 5 is adjusted within the range of 0.2-1.0 wt.% so that the electric potential of the core 1 of the header plate 5 is 0-50 mV less noble than that of a core of the flat tube 6.
