PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the communication security in a communication terminal device utilizing a service in a communication network for notifying the telephone number and name of a caller when an incoming call arrives. SOLUTION: A communication control unit 11 in the control unit 1 of a telephone set is provided with a notification detecting means 12 for detecting notification when at least one of the telephone number or name of a caller is notified, and a message sending means 14 for sending a message according to the result of detection to the caller. If the name or telephone number of the caller is not detected, the unit 11 notifies the caller of that to urge the caller to make a call again, so that a careless call to an unidentified caller can be prevented.
