PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information editing device capable of reducing costs and effectively performing a content describing operation. SOLUTION: The information editing device 5 for editing digital data comprises event information acquiring means 36 for acquiring event information, including the switching timing of each screen image displayed on a display screen 30, digital data acquiring means 33 for acquiring digital data, which is recorded within displaying the screen image on the display screen 30 in relation to the screen image, zone determining means 430 for determining the dividing position for dividing digital data into a plurality of zones, based on the event information, and zone adjusting means 431 for integrating a nonstandard zone whose length is shorter than the standard length into one of zones, which are disposed just in front of or back of the nonstandard zone, when the length of the zone determined by the zone determining means 430 is detected to be shorter than the predetermined standard length.
