PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate delay difference between pieces of low-speed data transmitted by being divided into a plurality of pieces without influencing logical limit performance (wire rate) of a network line. SOLUTION: In this data transmission method between networks provided with a non-signal area between the pieces of data and in which the minimum value of the non-signal area is defined by a communication standard, the transmitting side is provided with a process for dividing the data to be transmitted in the networks into a plurality of pieces of low-speed data according to the preset number of divisions, for imparting a fixed pattern for detecting the head and the tail of the low-speed data to the non-signal area between the plurality of the low-speed data and a plurality of low-speed data divided next and for transmitting the fixed pattern and the receiving side is provided with a process for receiving the plurality of pieces of low-speed data to which the fixed pattern is imparted, for restoring original data from the plurality of pieces of low-speed data from which the fixed pattern is removed and for outputting the original data to the network on the receiving side.
