PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make automatically adjustable the offset between an I phase signal and a Q phase signal or imbalance in gain which causes deterioration in the communication quality of a reception part in a radio base station device, to make reducible the labor for the adjustment, and to make able to deal with changes in offset or gain by environmental changes. SOLUTION: The radio base station device averages the reception signals of an I phase and a Q phase which lie at right angles to each other for the fixed number of times respectively, adjusts an amount of offset of the respective reception signals of the I phase and the Q phase by using results obtained by differentiating an equalized reception signal and a predetermined reference value. The same device also compares signal levels of the I phase and the Q phase and, when the level of the I phase signal exceeds that of the Q phase, the level of the Q phase signal is adjusted.
