PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device without requiring sealing of liquid around a piezoelectric element easily assemblable, producing a fuel injection valve at low cost, and to implement optimal flow characteristics in the long term by reduction of abrasion. SOLUTION: Even in direct acting type of the same displacement of elements, for eliminating the need for sealing the liquid around the piezoelectric element, a member fixed to the piezoelectric element and a member fixed to a valve part are interposed between the piezoelectric element and a valve element to form one of contact parts of the members in a spherical shape. Therefore, the assembly becomes more easily, and the fuel injection valve is produced at low cost. Further, abrasion is reduced and unstable movement of the valve is suppressed, to implement optimal flow characteristics in the long term. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
