PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor blend applied to emitting red primary color in color plasma display panels. SOLUTION: The phosphor blend comprises a mixture of a first red-emitting phosphor of general formula (Y<SB>1-x-y</SB>Gd<SB>x</SB>Eu<SB>y</SB>)<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(wherein, 0≤x≤0.9; and 0.02≤y≤0.4) and a second red-emitting phosphor of general formula (Y<SB>1-a-b</SB>Gd<SB>a</SB>Eu<SB>b</SB>)BO<SB>3</SB>(wherein, 0≤a≤1; and 0.02≤b≤0.1) and the second red-emitting phosphor comprises 10-40 wt.% of the blend.
