PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame box equipped with a drop preventing device which can quickly be arranged without using manpower. SOLUTION: This rectangular parallelepiped box shape frame box 1 of which the side surfaces are open is equipped with an upper external frame 26, a lower external frame 27, and a lower lead wire 22 which connects the upper external frame 26 with a crane hook 16. The upper external frame 26 and the lower external frame 27 are constituted in a manner to surround the side surfaces of the frame box 1, and can move upward along the side surfaces from the lower end of the frame box 1. After finishing the loading of a cargo 18 onto the frame box 1, when the crane hook 16 ascends, the lower lead wire 22 moves accompanying the ascent. The upper external frame 26 attached to the lower lead wire 22, and the lower external frame 27 connected with the upper external frame 26 with a chain 28 move to a location which goes across the open side surfaces horizontally, and drop preventive effects for the cargo 18 are displayed.
