PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cutting unit wherein an installing angle of cutting tool of a round edge is certainly and easily changed, and a machining position of a tip of the edge is precisely kept. SOLUTION: The rotary cutting unit comprises a disc-shaped rotating head 1, and a cutter block 2 attached to the rotating head 1 and having a single-crystal diamond edge 7 with an arc-shaped edge tip 7a. The rotating head 1 has installing portions 3 in plural places on a periphery, and each installing portion 3 has a bottom surface 5 having a different tilting angle in regard to a rotating surface S of the rotating head 1.
