The concrete block (1) has two rough concrete sides (2) on opposite sides each with the length (4) of at least one grid length (5) and having two opposite smooth sides (3) each with the width (6) of a grid length (5) less the length (7) of a waste part. In the case of a block with three rough side faces (2) and one smooth side face the side length and side width each have a grid length less than the length of a waste part. The height (9) of all the side faces is exactly the same. The block can be made by separating several connected blocks and waste parts .
