The corner connector (1) is fitted into a chamber of one of two hollow chamber profiles and clamped in place by withdrawing the expander wedge (4). The drawing tool (3) has a drawing bar (30) with a hook (31) at one end to engage with the wedge. A weight (33) moves axially along the bar, and there is a stop (32) for the weight at the other end of the bar. The weight has a mass of 0,8 to 1,1kg, it is moved over a distance of at least 10cm, and the stop is formed as a hand grip for the tool.
