The bivouac tent has an integrated bracing bow (12) in the head region braced by a container bag (1) for baggage. The bracing is effected by the weight and volume of the baggage in the container bag. A trim cord (3) connects the two highest points of the bow and container bag. An inner lying tie cord (10) is provided behind the head region for the optimum wind and rain protection. The container bag is made of a watertight material and has a variable opening (11) at one end.
