PURPOSE: A method for detecting a dynamic QoS alarm is provided to add or change a KPI(Key Performance Indicator) in real time according to the will of an operator under substantial network environments, thereby stably maintaining a network element system. CONSTITUTION: An operator generates a dynamic KPI name through a KPI setup edition GUI(200)(101). A performance management module(204) of a server collects performance data from a network element(206)(102), and informs a QoS alarm detection module(202) that the collecting is completed(103). The QoS alarm detection module(202) reads KPI information defined by the operator from a KPI DB(201)(104), and confirms whether a current QoS alarm is previously registered(105). If so, the QoS alarm detection module(202) reports a fault management unit to cancel the QoS alarm(106).
