PURPOSE: A liquid level sensor using capacitance is provided to prevent the liquid level sensor from malfunctioning by electrically separating a reservoir and an area having the liquid sensor. CONSTITUTION: A liquid level sensor using capacitance includes a sensor part, a reference capacitor, a variable capacitor, a signal part(100), a sensor part(111), a capacitance comparator(120), a housing(200), an internal sidewall(221) of the housing(200), and an outer sidewall(222) of the housing(200). The sensor part detects whether or not the liquid level reaches a desired position. The reference capacitor and the variable capacitor have two ports, respectively. The capacitance comparator receives capacitance values from the reference capacitor and the variable capacitor.
